Dual Field of View Lens
For FLIR Exx, T5xx, T8xx, and Axxx-Series Cameras
You never have to change your lens in the field again. With the push of a button, the FLIR FlexView lens allows you to instantly switch from a 24° wide view for scene context to 14° telephoto for an accurate temperature measurement and thorough thermal inspection.
Benefits of FLIR FlexView
- Switch FOV with the press of a button instead of exchanging lenses in the field
- Save time and space with one lens, two FOVs for the same job
- Run efficient, accurate inspections in the field with less risk of missing anomalies

How Can FlexView Help Me?
Three use cases
Handheld Convenience
Now you don't have to carry an extra lens and risk dropping it or contaminating sensitive camera parts. Stay outside of arc flash zones while scanning critical assets at a safe distance.
Fixed Monitoring
With one lens and no hassle, you can capture both full targets at close distances and small targets at longer distances. The FlexView lens allows you to get more pixels on your target for high-quality data which allows you to improve decision making.
Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV)
It's not easy to change lenses on an autonomous robot. FLIR FlexView allows you to capture a wide image of large targets, and instantly switch to a narrow lens for smaller targets at longer distances. Get the most accurate temperature measurements so you can make better decisions.
FLIR FlexView FAQs
WHICH FLIR CAMERAS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH FLEXVIEW?
FLIR Txxx-Series:
T530, T540, T560, T840, T860, and T865
FLIR Axxx-Series: A400, A500, and A700
FLIR Exx Series: E76, E86, and E96
How does FLEXVIEW work?
FLIR FlexView is easy to use across multiple compatible camera models. For handheld cameras, the switch on the lens will toggle between 14° and 24° field of view lenses in seconds. For A400/500/700 cameras, software commands perform the same function as the switch.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 14° and 24° FOV LENSES?
Field of View (FOV) refers to how much of a certain scene the camera can see all at once and from what distance. 24° is a wide-angle FOV, meaning you will be able to assess the scene in its entirety or at a larger scale. When you want to zoom in on a particular item, such as a hot spot, the FlexView allows you to switch to 14° FOV so you can clearly measure it from a distance.
WHY IS FLEXVIEW LENS CONVENIENT FOR THERMAL INSPECTIONS?
Switching between 14° and 24° usually involves swapping out physical wide-angle and telephoto lens. However, the FlexView makes it easy to toggle between the two without having to adjust anything on your camera aside from pushing a single button.
