FLIR Launches ’Thermal by FLIR’ Partner Program

FLIR today introduced a new partner program called ‘Thermal by FLIR™’ for technology partners who use genuine FLIR sensors to create innovative, thermal-powered products.

Thermal by FLIR partners is a holistic, cooperative product development and marketing program that supports product innovators who use FLIR thermal imaging sensors in their products. Partners get specialized support from a variety of FLIR teams, including product development with experienced applications engineers, marketing, and technical sales support

In conjunction with the announcement, FLIR also showcased its first four program partners and their products in the FLIR booth at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 in Las Vegas. These include:

  • ARSENZ ThermoGlass – A wearable augmented-reality device that mounts to glasses, the ThermoGlass allows the wearer to see a thermal image at a glance and operates hands-free.
  • Casio EX-FR10 – A proof-of-concept camera that demonstrates Casio’s commitment to innovation, this camera is part of Casio’s EXILIM FR multi-camera family of digital cameras. The EX-FR10 separates the FLIR Lepton thermal sensor from the camera controls and screen to allow users to take thermal photos from a distance via Bluetooth.
  • Panasonic Thermal Sensor – A thermal imaging attachment for the rugged Toughpad FZ-M1, a Windows-based 7-inch tablet built for field service, construction, utility, and quality assurance workers to take thermal images on the go.
  • TinkerForge Thermal Imaging Bricklet – TinkerForge is a system of building blocks for professional product makers. The TinkerForge Thermal Imaging Bricklet with a FLIR Lepton sensor allows makers to quickly build proof-of-concept for any project including, robotics and smart home devices.

While the first products use FLIR’s smallest thermal imaging sensor, the FLIR Lepton®, the Thermal by FLIR program is open to all FLIR’s thermal camera cores including its higher-performance sensor, FLIR Boson®.

Several additional Thermal by FLIR products currently in the works and we’ll have more announcements later in 2018. To learn more, please visit FLIR.com/thermalbyflir.
