FLIR Systems Australia Pty Ltd, formerly Australasian Infrared Systems Pty Ltd and FLIRTS (Forward Looking Infrared Thermal Systems), is a subsidiary of FLIR Systems Inc. and is totally focussed on supply, service, training and application support for infrared camera users.

FLIR Systems Australia Pedigree

FLIR Systems Australia personnel have accumulated in excess of over 50 years of experience in industrial, scientific and defence thermography. FLIR Systems Australia has in excess of 250 thermal imaging cameras currently in operation in Australia ranging from small hand held units in the mining and electrical sector to larger military units in covert operations or scientific research.

FLIR Systems Australia, in conjunction with Melbourne University, conducts the primary Australian Accredited IR Course in Thermography (AINDT standard) in Australia.

In recognition of its growth, Australasian Infrared Systems was awarded the Monash Business Award for Innovation and Business Growth in 2004.
